What Level Ground is

An independent, educational review of your construction plans and/or your builder's estimate, prepared to help you understand your project and ask better questions. We work only for you, the homeowner.

What Level Ground is not

• Not legal, engineering, architectural, lending, or financial advice.
• Not a party to, or a review of the enforceability of, your construction contract.
• Not a guarantee of what your project will cost. Figures marked "Estimated" are honest ranges based on regional data and experience — real costs depend on your selections, your site, and your market.
• Not a builder-matching or referral service. We never recommend, rank, or accuse specific builders, and we accept no compensation from any builder.

Your part

Provide plans and documents you have the right to share, and understand that our review is based on what you provide. Final decisions — and confirmation of every figure with your builder and licensed professionals — are yours.

Refunds

If you're not satisfied with your report, tell us and we'll refund your fee in full. No questions asked.

Liability

Our total liability for any claim related to a report is limited to the amount you paid for that report. We put our best professional effort into every review, and we're honest about its limits — that honesty is the deal.
